Our Story

Blitar, Indonesia, is home to vast plantations of purple uwi, commonly known as ube. This vibrant root crop thrives in the region’s fertile soil, yet despite its abundance, it remains underappreciated and underutilized. Local farmers have been cultivating ube for generations, but the market for their harvest has always been limited, inconsistent, and undervalued. Many farmers struggle to sell their crops at fair prices, leading to financial instability and discouraging future generations from continuing this agricultural tradition.

One of the biggest challenges in the local market is the lack of awareness about ube’s true potential. While ube is widely used in countries like the Philippines and Japan, in Indonesia, it remains an overlooked ingredient. Farmers primarily sell their harvest as raw tubers, limiting its profitability. Without proper processing facilities, many of these fresh ube crops spoil before reaching buyers, causing financial losses. Additionally, the local demand is not strong enough to support the volume of ube grown in Blitar, forcing many farmers to either sell at extremely low prices or let their harvest go to waste.

Seeing this gap, we founded our manufacturing company with a clear mission: to bridge the local supply with the growing global demand for ube products. By partnering directly with Blitar’s farmers, we ensure fair trade, create stable income opportunities, and prevent food waste. We specialize in producing high-quality ube powder and extract, allowing this incredible ingredient to reach international markets where it is valued and appreciated.
